Международное общество биологических и экологических репозиториев (ISBER) в сотрудничестве с UHN Biospecimen Services (Канада) проводит 2-дневный виртуальный симпозиум «Биобанкирование для завтрашнего дня», посвященный многим важным аспектам работы биобанков, в том числе организационным и техническим. Симпозиум будет проводиться 22-23 октября, время его проведения оптимизировано для восточного побережья США и Канады.

Трансляция докладов, сессий вопросов и ответов, и дискуссий будет осуществляться онлайн, при помощи современных программных решений.

Стоимость участия в виртуальном симпозиуме является умеренной, она также дополнительно снижена для членов ISBER и студентов.

About UHN Biospecimen Services:

The UHN Biospecimen Services is a research core facility for biospecimens at the University Health Network (UHN), Canada’s largest academic hospital system. Since 2001, patient samples have been acquired, processed, annotated, stored and distributed to diverse high impact research studies led by UHN investigators. UHN Biospecimen Services provides a wide variety of services for the enhancement and progression of oncological and immunological research. It facilitates research through processing and storage of easily accessible human biospecimen samples such as fresh frozen and formalin fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue, compartmentalized blood components such as serum, plasma, and the whole blood and various body fluids. Additional services provided by UHN Biospecimen Services include tissue microarray (TMA) construction and quantitative image analysis of TMA sections, digital slide scanning, quantitative image and pathological/clinical analysis for various tumour sites.
