We invite you to participate in IX school on biobanking!

“The basics of biobanking” a thematic improvement course, will be held from 9-11 October, 2024 in Moscow, on the basis of National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Sechenov University.

Course Objective:

• To provide theoretical and practical knowledge required to maintain an existing biobank and establish a new biobank
• To facilitate the exchange of knowledge and skills between different groups of researchers involved in sample preparation, biomaterial storage and various scientific studies
• To form the principles of a standardized approach to all stages of biobanking
• To improve the quality of scientific research and awareness of biobanks

The 3-day course program will include lectures and practical exercises in the following areas:

• Introduction to biobanking
• Features of biobanking of different types of biomaterials
• Design and organization of work processes in biobank
• Standardization and quality control
• Ethical and legal aspects
• Biobank IT components and technological solutions

Participation fee: 14 000 rubles

There is a discount for NASBio members, the cost of participation is 10,000 rubles
